Description & Services
Description (Service) Group communication programs for adults with aphasia (speech problems) after stroke, head injury, or brain disease * Speech Language Pathologist, Communicative Disorders Assistance and a Social Workers work with trained volunteers to encourage learning communication to optimize language abilities * support for families learning about aphasia * focus on strengthening intact abilities and exploring new skills, interests and knowledge * resource library, seminars for public education
